Jameelah, inspired by her mother an outstanding vocalist and piano player, have desired a career singing and performing every since she was a very young girl.
She was known for performing the cover songs of singers like Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, Teena Marie, Patti La Belle, etc...; receiving much recognition for her unique silky smooth tones and talent. She been writing, producing her own material in the early 2000 leading to the release of her debut CD "Jameelah's World"; May 2007.
Although she is now performing her original material she continues to perform songs of some of her favorite artist; Jill Scott, Alicia Keys, The Emotions, Heather Headley, Eyrka Badu, Sade, EnVogue, Jade and many of the neo-soul and smooth sounding artist of today and yesterday.
